Workshop Outline 

• Assess the condition of your piece of furniture and any repair work needed. 
• Plan your design - learn to read furniture, incorporate good design fundamentals (incl colour theory, scale etc) 
  
• Learn about commonly used Products and Tools 
• Learn how to fix common repairs 
  
• Preparation techniques - learn how to get the right surface
• Time to Transform - apply your paint, achieve a flawless, modern paint finish. Apply your design using best techniques
• Finish your piece of furniture, to protect it for many years to come
  

Please bring...

You simply need to bring a small wooden piece of furniture or perhaps a couple of doors or drawers from a piece you might already be working on. It needs to have never been painted and wooden so you can have a go stripping the varnish. If you don't already have a piece of furniture, not to worry as I can supply one for or a small charge (under £15). Please let me know as soon as possible.

I would really appreciate it if you could send me a photo of the piece of furniture before the workshop. This will ensure you get the most out of the day. Please include any ideas you have with regards to the design/colours or vibe you want to achieve.

Refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the day. Please bring lunch with you. 

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
