Beautiful and Bold solid wood chest of drawers by Schreiber (not to be mistaken for their non solid range of furniture). This piece of furniture could equally be used as a small console table or sideboard, with the added benefit 3 drawers for storage.
The handles had me at hello! I absolutely adore the shape of these handles, a classic Mid Century design feature. They had to remain wood! You can see the lovely grain patterns running through the wood and due to their size, they slide in and out very easily.
The drawers have been painted in a delicate white inspired by the natural luxury of 'Raw Silk'. The combination of natural wood, light paint with the pop of colours works on the side panels works so well (in my opinion!).
The sides have been decoupaged with a bold flower pattern 'Valldemossa' by designer Matthew Williamson. The print features a composition of colourful flowers and contrasting striped leaves. Varnish added for future protection.
All drawers have been lined.
As with all my creations, attention to detail and a high end finish is guaranteed.
